This policy explains how LUMIWOOD (“we”) handles information in the games LUMIWOOD Plants, LUMIWOOD Aqua and LUMIWOOD Pets, including the browser versions and the Microsoft Store versions (the “Games”).
1. Your save data
- Your plants, fish, pets, money and other progress are saved in your browser on your own device (for example in localStorage). They are not sent to our servers.
- When you send fish between Plants and Aqua, the parcel is kept for a short time in a cookie on lumiwood.app (lwbox) and removed once it is received.
- You can delete your save with “Start over” in each game’s settings, or by clearing your browser data.
2. Usage analytics (to improve the Games)
The Games send the following to our own analytics server on Cloudflare:
- that a game was opened, and how long it was played
- in-game events (for example which screens were opened or which items were bought)
- clicks on external links, and error messages
- the referring site, display language and game version
- a random device ID, stored only on your device and not linked to your name or other details
We do not send your name, email address, photos or location. Your IP address passes through Cloudflare for the connection, but we do not store it. To turn analytics off, open the game once with ?notrack=1 added to the address (use ?notrack=0 to turn it back on).
3. Feedback form
- When you use “Send feedback” in the game settings, we receive what you wrote (category and message) and which game and version it came from.
- The contact field is optional. If you fill it in, we use it only to reply to that message.

- to fix bugs, make the Games easier to play and plan new features
- to reply to your feedback
5. Other services
- Hosting and analytics: Cloudflare, Inc. (information may be stored on servers outside Japan)
- Web fonts: Google Fonts
- Linked shops (for example from the plant guide) follow their own policies. Affiliate links are marked “PR”.
- The Games show no ads. Except where required by law, we do not give the information we receive to third parties.
6. Children
The Games do not ask for names or contact details. If children use the optional contact field in the feedback form, please do so together with a parent or guardian.
7. Requests and contact
Please contact us through “Send feedback” in the game settings. Because analytics records use a random ID and are not linked to your name, we may not be able to find the records of a specific person.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will announce it on this page. The Japanese version prevails if the two differ.
